To introduce advanced fruits and vegetables preservation technologies, equipment, cold warehouse design and cold chain logistics to participants from developing countries. Participates can bring these knowledge and skills back home to increase their incomes and benefit the local people. 2. To provide participants basic knowledge of fruit and vegetable storage and preservation through technology training. 3. Advance technical exchanges and cooperation between China and the participants’ home countries. 4. Enhance China’s friendship with the participants’ home countries and contribute to the building of the “Belt and Road” initiative. Programs: 1. The effect of physiological and biochemical characteristics on the fruits/vegetable quality in the pre and post harvesting. 2. Preservation principles and control parameters. 3. Preservation techniques for different species of fruits and vegetables. 4. Introduction to preservation methods, devices, transportation and cold logistics facilities of China, as well as the use of freshness protection package and preservatives. 5. Traceability system of fruit and vegetable quality control. 6.Technical visits to relevant companies.
