Objectives:

This training workshop aims to introduce the research achievements and efficient application of vegetables breeding, cultivation and greenhouse planting technology in China, to promote the application of breeding technology and greenhouse facilities in other developing countries, and to strengthen bi/multilateral technical cooperation among developing countries to help their vegetable products go global.

Programs:

1. Breeding technology, marker-assisted breeding technique, cell engineering breeding.

2. Genomics research on vegetables. 3. Large-scale seed production.

4. Soilless cultivation, facilities cultivation.

5. Factory-cultivated seedling production technology.

6. IPM and Early warning and control technology of horticultural crop pests and diseases. 7. Experimental operation and demonstration.

8. Experience sharing and technical visits.
