International Training Workshop on Major Transboundary Animal Diseases (TADs) Diagnosis Technology

Objectives:

1. To improve the capability of diagnosis and detection of FMD, PPR, sheep/goat pox diseases and contagiouscaprine pleurophneumoniae (CCPP) from countries bordering China.

2. To strengthen the capability of regional joint prevention and control of major TADs.

3. To promote international exchanges and cooperation among developing countries in animal diseases detection and control technologies.

Programs:

1. Introduction to the prevention and control of major TADs.

2. Quality control of diagnostic and testing labs, and biosafety management of ABSL-3 labs.

3. Collection and transportation of diagnostic specimens.

4. Epidemiological investigation and monitoring of foot-and-mouth disease.

5. Pathogen, gene diagnosis and antibody detection technology of foot and mouth disease.

6. Epidemiological investigation, diagnosis and detection technology of PPRV.

7. Diagnosis and detection technology of sheeppox disease. 8. Diagnosis and detection technology of CCPP.
