Objectives:

This training program is designed for the practicing hemodialysis staffs from the developing countries such as Asia, Africa and South America, etc, in order to improve the quality of hemodialysis and to improve the prognosis of end-stage renal disease patients in these countries.

Programs:

The training program provides trainees and practicing nephrologists with the basic knowledge, standardized clinical practice guideline of hemodialysis and the recent advances in prescription management of in-center hemodialysis. The program focuses on rationale of hemodialysis, dialysis adequacy evaluation, fluid evaluation in dialysis patients, anticoagulation, infection, management of vascular access, prevention and control for both blood-borne and non-blood-borne infectious diseases in hemodialysis patients, etc.
