Time: October 18 to November 4, 2023 Venue: Hangzhou City，on-line Working Language: English Objectives: The workshop aims to promote the popularization and application of best available technologies for waste management and waste to energy in Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, yemen, Mongolia and other developing countries along the Belt and Road (Initiative), and provide an introduction to the development history, technical level, operation management, and application experience of waste to energy in China. We are dedicated to supporting the sustainable development of urbanization in developing countries, resolving the "waste siege" problem faced by several developing countries, and enhancing the quality of life for locals. Also, the workshop would promote international cooperation and exchange between China and developing countries on waste to energy technology； Expand the influence of China＇s innovative resources abroad, improve people＇s quality of life； Develop professional and technical talents； Establish long-term, stable, and close scientific and technological cooperation relationships with developing countries. Solving the “Not in my back yard” problem: the role of waste to energy plant construction；10. Case analysis of PPP investment in waste to energy plant；11. Practical operation technology of waste to energy plant；12. R＆D mode of the core technology enterprise of waste to energy；13. Presentations of the participants, exchanging the current situation of waste management in their host country.14.
