Objectives:

CASTED has established extensive contacts with developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America, and has carried out various forms of exchanges and cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovation policy research. By holding this training, CASTED will closely focus on the priority areas of China＇s scientific and technological innovation strategy and policy research, give full play to existing experience and advantages. We will focus on topics including S＆T indicators and statistical analysis, strategy and planning methods of S＆T innovation, poverty eradication by relying on STI, S＆T investment and financial policies to promote innovation, S＆T parks and industrial clusters, promotion of innovation and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, cultivation of S＆T talents, construction of emergency management system for risk and natural disaster, S＆T innovation to promote sustainable economic development and other policy areas, and further strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation with developing countries.
