Time: August, 2024 Venue: Shanghai Working Language: English Objectives: This training program is designed for staffs engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of glomerular diseases and renal pathology from the developing countries in Asia and Africa. The objective is to promote the safe and orderly development of renal pathological diagnosis technology in these countries, to continuously improve the prognosis of patients with renal disease, and to enhance the level of standardized prevention and treatment of renal disease and overall medical quality. Programs: The training program provides trainees with renal pathological examination techniques, diagnostic standards and clinical practice guidelines of glomerular diseases by onsite academic lectures, case discussion, pathological reading sessions and practice teaching, combined with online sessions. The program mainly covers 10 parts, including renal biopsy techniques, specimen processing techniques, basic theory of renal pathology, international guidelines for renal pathological diagnosis, significance and practical application of various detection indicators, primary and secondary glomerular diseases, rare glomerular diseases, transplant renal pathology, malignancy related renal diseases, and clinicopathological quality control.
