Time: June 15, 2025 Venue: Beijing Working Language: English Objectives: In order to actively respond to the national “Belt and Road” initiative, enhance technical exchanges and cooperation between China and other developing countries in the field of geographic information, accelerate the pace of internationalization of geographic information industry hardware and software, promote Chinese enterprises to go abroad faster, this training seminar is specially invited to government personnel, experts and scholars, and technical personnel from the governments and enterprise units of the Belt and Road partner countries and related regions who have geographic information application needs to participate in the training seminar. The training seminar will help participants analyze the problems in the informationization construction of their countries, deeply explore solutions that conform to their respective national conditions, and share China’s advanced technologies and achievements in the field of geographic information. Programs: Based on the theme of the application of geographic information technology in information construction, the forum will invite well-known experts, software design and development engineers, and project managers in the geographic information field to give lectures on site. Combining the application needs of the Belt and Road partner countries in terms of land management, smart cities, land registration, water conservancy digital twin, meteorological disasters, and other aspects, as well as the practical applications of multiple departments, the forum will design training courses that combine advanced technologies with domestic and foreign typical application cases. The course content integrates theoretical learning and hands-on practice, so that relevant training personnel can ｍａｓｔｅｒ the use and development methods of SuperMap GIS geographic information basic platform software and understand the role of GIS in the informationization field of multiple industries.
