Time: May 15, 2025 Venue: Shanghai, etc. Working Language: English Objectives: The training program hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) aims to cultivate professional technical talent to address the developmental needs of regions including Africa, Latin America, and Central Asia. The program focuses on promoting the “AI for Good” concept, concentrating on key artificial intelligence sectors to teach the latest technologies and share innovative applications, thus promoting high-quality economic and social development in participant countries. It is designed to enhance international cooperation, encourage knowledge sharing, and advance global development initiatives, as well as the worldwide implementation of “AI for Good.” CAICT, with its research foundation and international collaboration experience in AI, provides solid theoretical and practical support for the training program, facilitating global knowledge exchange and technological cooperation. Programs: The training program, which lasts for 15 days, encompasses a variety of subjects such as AI basics, the digital economy, infrastructure development, ITU AI for Good initiatives, integration with ICT sectors, international collaboration and policies, ethics and governance, healthcare, education, environmental conservation, and urban management. Each day is packed with a blend of theoretical instruction, case studies, site visits, and group activities, designed to boost participants’ practical AI skills through hands-on experience and global cooperation, thereby advancing sustainable development on a global scale.
