Objectives:

In the context of jointly building the “Belt and Road” international science and technology cooperation, Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development (CASTED) has established extensive contacts with developing countries and international science and technology organizations, and has carried out exchanges and cooperation in the field of science and technology and innovation policy research. Among them, the Belt and Road International Training Workshop on STI Policy Research and Method hosted by CASTED has been held for 11 consecutive sessions. Continuing to organize training courses is conducive to serving the overall layout of China’s “Belt and Road” scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation, especially in terms of AI technology. It will expand the “Belt and Road” think tank network of CASTED, establish scientific and technological exchange and cooperation channels with developing countries, strengthening ties with UNESCO and other international organizations, introducing China’s scientific and technological development process in the international community, sharing China’s experience, and jointly building a community with a shared future for mankind.

China’s AI policies and practical experience, including: AI infrastructure construction, AI empowerment industry development, AI talent training, AI data security, AI governance, etc.
