International Molecular Pathology Training Program

Objectives:

The Program aims to promote the sharing of new technologies and methods in molecular pathology between China and Belt and Road countries. It helps biomedical professionals understand and master fundamental knowledge and applications of molecular pathology, improve clinical testing capacities, and enhance international exchange and cooperation.

Programs:

The teaching content covers molecular pathology It covers polymerase chain reaction (PCR) (gradient PCR, qPCR, multiplex PCR, ARMS PCR, etc.), first-generation gene sequencing (Sanger sequencing), genetic mapping (homozygous mapping, genome-wide association studies, polygenic risk scoring, CNV analysis), next-generation gene sequencing (NGS) and its applications (targeting, exons and genomes sequencing, RNA sequencing, chip sequencing, ATAC sequencing), EGFR gene mutation detection methods and clinical significance, ALK gene fusion mutation detection methods and clinical significance, application of first-generation gene sequencing (Sanger sequencing) in clinical molecular pathology, microsatellite instability (MSI) detection methods and clinical significance. The application of next-generation gene sequencing (NGS) in clinical molecular pathology (including gene mutations, TMB, HRD, etc.) and BRCA gene mutation detection methods.
