Time: October 16, 2026 Venue: Beijing, China Working Language: English Objectives: The purpose of this training program is to enhance the understanding and participation capabilities of technical professionals from developing countries in Southeast Asia in the field of international technology standards. It aims to strengthen their effective participation and presence in the evolving landscape of global digital governance and technological competition. Through systematic training, the program will help developing countries in Southeast Asia build a solid foundation in areas such as network infrastructure standards, advanced communication protocols, and core Internet mechanisms, thereby enabling more effective participation in global standard-setting processes. At the same time, it seeks to deepen cooperation and exchange between China and developing countries in Southeast Asia in the field of technology standards, implement the Belt and Road Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Action Plan and the Global Development Initiative, and promote the establishment of a more just, equitable, and inclusive international science and technology governance system.
