Study and exchange in China
Mahsa Borna

China has chalked a remarkable success in her bid to convert some lands under desert to vegetation through the application of policies, scientific research and advanced technologies. In this training course, I had the opportunity to study and acquire new skills to enhance my skills. Through the 20-day training course, my scope of knowledge and technological know- how has broadened and reshaped to address  any challenges we may be confronted with in my country.

I will therefore use this opportunity to advise my colleague participants to make efforts to practice what I have learnt and also organize workshops to colleagues and impart the knowledge acquired.

It is no doubt that this training course sailed through an atmosphere of absolute peace and harmony.

This was the first time I had traveled abroad alone so I was full of stress, but as soon as I arrived in china and I met warm-hearted and hospitable Chinese people and all that stress disappeared.

I always dreamed of seeing China up close, and when I did, I understood that it is even more beautiful and amazing than her pictures.

I could feel positive energy in all parts of city, beautiful red color and fantastic historical symbols even had made the city more attractive.

Not only during my 20 days in China, I never felt lonely, but also I felt like I was walking in my own country and among my own people and family.

The most enjoyable thing for me was the rich culture and sweet language of China. I loved them so much in the way that when I returned to my country, I started studying culture and learning Chinese.

Another perfect thing which I tried in these days was the tasty food of China. Contrary to many people's beliefs, China has the most delicious and healthy food which I recommend to everyone. The Chinese take a good care of their health and rarely drink cold water. Honestly, I really, miss Chinese food.

Now one of my wishes is travelling to china again and even I like to study in China universities because in this way I will have more opportunities to know about Chinese culture more and more.

Last but not least, I express my appreciation to the Director, lecturers and other staff of Gansu Desert Control Research Institute, and other servers for organizing this training Programme for us.

It is my hope that such kind of training courses will be run continuously to impart scientific knowledge and exchanging culture to many more.
