Objectives:
The aim is to help to solve the technical and infrastructural difficulty of cataract subspecialty for other developing countries; to raise cataract screening rate and CSR level and help with the elimination of avoidable blindness; to promote clinical, academic, technical and administrative cooperation with other developing countries in ophthalmology.
Programs:
1. Basic theory of cataract and prevention and treatment of avoidable blindness;
2. Cataract screening system;
3. Cataract surgical techniques and procedure (ECCE / Phaco) training;
4. Ophthalmologic equipment and instrument application training;
5. Perioperative complication management.
