Objectives:
The aim is to promote exchanges and cooperation among other developing countries in terms of the policy study on science, technology and innovation among Asian and African developing countries; to improve the capability of those developing countries in the formulation of STI strategy and policies.
Programs:
1. S&T statistics, indicators and analysis;
2. Formulation methods of S&T strategy and development plans;
3. Method and application of technology foresight and technology roadmapping;
4. Practice in promoting progress in agricultural S&T and ensuring national food security;
5. Policies in S&T parks and industrial clusters;
6. Financial policies to promote the growth of SMEs;
7. Case study of typical Asian developing countries;
8. Case study of typical African developing countries.
