Objectives:

The aim is to help the participants to understand principles of Chinese medicine and Chinese culture, evaluate patient problems critically, plan the treatment according to syndrome differentiation, and know the latest advances of Chinese medicine and acupuncture; to enhance scientific collaboration and academic exchange in this field between China and other developing countries.

Programs:

1. Classical theory and philosophic basis of Chinese medicine;
2. New understanding on classic theory;
3. Current situation and development trend of integrated medicine in China;
4. Diagnosis and treatment on common and difficult diseases with herbal medicine and acupuncture;
5. New developed acupuncture techniques and its clinical application;
6. Clinical Observation and Study: Clinical observation, practice and case study in the departments of Chinese herbal medicine
