Objectives:

The aim is to train technicians from Southeast Asia on animal epidemic prevention and control technologies, who can teach other technical personnel after they go back to their countries and improve the level of animal epidemic prevention and diagnosis of their own countries. To deepen the friendship between each other and promote cooperation and exchanges between China and Southeast Asia in animal epidemic prevention to effectively prevent and control animal diseases. 

Programs:

1. An overview of epidemiological characteristics of animal epidemics and their prevention and control;

2. An overview of major animal disease diagnostic assays;

3. An overview of major animal disease and prevention and control, existing problems and technical requirements in Southeast Asia;

4. Samples collection and virus isolation and identification in laboratory diagnosis；

5. Diagnostic assays for detection of animal diseases by Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and real time PCR；

6. Diagnostic assays for detection of animal diseases by Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP)；

7. Diagnostic assays for detection of animal disease subtypes by GeXP；

8. Diagnostic assays for detection of antibody by ELISA.
