Minister WAN Gang met with former US Vice President Al Gore, who came to China for Workshop on Climate Change, on Jun. 9, Beijing.

The two sides exchanged ideas on China-US cooperation in science and technology. Minister WAN briefed on the progress in Sino-US Joint Research Center for Clean Energy and proposed to strengthen the cooperation at the government, business and people-to-people level between the two countries.
