Together, BGI aim to advance genomic research and its applications. This program aims to empower researchers and healthcare professionals in BRI partner countries with cutting-edge genomic medicine technologies, enhancing their technical expertise in genomics research and clinical applications. Ultimately, it aims to improve the diagnostic and treatment capabilities of medical institutions in BRI partner countries, enabling the development of more precise healthcare services. Programs: The content of this program includes multi-omics research methods and the latest advancements, analysis of biological information data, analysis and interpretation of clinical genetic disease data, and genetic counseling. It also covers the application of multi-omics technology in disease prevention and control, clinical testing, and practical experience sharing inlaboratory construction projects. Participants will: 1. Understand the cutting-edge advancements and future directions of multi-omics technology, ｍａｓｔｅｒ the latest research techniques and methods, and gain insights into the design and analysis methods for multi-omics research. 2. Grasp the concepts related to bioinformatics, ｍａｓｔｅｒ the principles and applications of bioinformatics data analysis methods, understand processes and database utilization, and learn about data statistical analysis and results presentation. 3. Gain knowledge of high-throughput sequencing applications and development prospect in genetic disease diagnosis and grasp the principles of genetic testing. 4.Grasp the application value and significance of genetic testing technology in the prevention and control of major diseases, and ｍａｓｔｅｒ the methods, procedures, and interpretation of data for the detection of common congenital anomalies. 5. Explore the use of omics technologies in reproductive health, tumor screening, and infectious disease control, as well as clinical testing lab design and gene testing platform construction requirements and application process. 6. Understand the importance of standardization setting in life sciences and technology within “the Belt and Road” region and learn about the process and strategies for international standardization promotion.
