Objectives:

  1. To train agricultural technicians and specialists in the field of hybrid rice production, instruct them to master the theories and practical techniques in hybrid rice, to ensure the continual development of hybrid rice industry. 

  2. To enlarge the planting area under hybrid rice, enhance rice production of developing countries, make hybrid rice extend to the world with quicker pace, improve food security of these countries and help to resolve the problem of feeding the world population. 

  3. To solve the technical problems in the extension of Chinese hybrid rice to different countries, fully exert the yield potential of hybrid rice, increase farm productivity and farmer’s income for these countries in a sustainable manner.
